Praise God for this wonderful work! Heb 4:12 - "for the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart."

This is the best bible app out there period. No frills, just pure word. And I compared this with the eye opener bible omission reference, and I was impressed. If you are reading a bible that is not translated from the original textus receptus of 1611(which this is) you are facing a version with about 200 omissions in it. Excellent work guys

I had always wanted to read the 1611 King James Bible after leaving Catholicism. My parents wouldnt buy the bible for me because they said it is protestant and did not want me to get "confused." Plus i cant buy one for myself since i am unable to get a job momentarily. So thank you for making this app! God Bless!

This is NOT the ORIGINAL KING JAMES! All spelling is updated, thus rendering it useless and heretical.

This app is beautiful! It makes reading more smoother, and I notice that I read more with it! I prefer the KJV because its the flawless and original translation of the actual scriptures.

Easy to navigate

If you are looking for the true real version of the Word of God this is it. There are 12 ways to spot an altered version of the Bible, 1. "or Sheba" not "and Sheba" Joshua 19:2, 2. "sin" not "sins" 2 Chronicles 33:19, 3. "Spirit of God" not "spirit of God" in Job 33:4, 4. "whom ye" not "whom he" in Jeremiah 34:16, 5. "Spirit of God" not "spirit of God" Ezekiel 11:24, 6. "flieth" not "fleeth" in Nahum 3:16, 7. "Spirit" not "spirit" in Matthew 4:1, 8. "further" not "farther" in Matthew 26:39, 9. "bewrayeth" not "betrayeth" in Matthew 26:73, 10. "Spirit" not "spirit" in Mark 1:12, 11. "spirit" not "Spirit" in Acts 11:28, 12. "spirit" not "Spirit" in 1 John 5:8. Yes, it does make a difference.

Nice app but this is not an electronic replica of the original first edition of the 1611 KJV. The problem is with a typo with Ruth 3:15.

Search engine is lacking in that: it does not have an " exact phrase" and no "substring"

In 1611 the letter "j" did not exist, among other letters, I guess my question is (WHAT MAKES THIS 1611 VERSION ??), I hate to see bible peddlers who are liars,, but at least KJV

Excellent app. 1john 5:8 is correct in this APP the letter s in the word spirit should not be capitalized. Awesome

I would prefer a real 1611 as it looked in 1611 to use for demonstration to show where todays KJV came from.

This might be the best, purest, and easiest to use Bible app out there. We can not grow without Gods Word. We have strength daily with some portion of Gods Word Daily, even its repetitive; we are what we put in our heart: through the eyes, ears, and out of our mouths. Dont know why this is called 1611, its more closer to the 1769 Blaney Ed. It doesnt have the apocrypha because we dont need to believe in the devils greatest con job ever: purgatory!

No wonder its free, because it dont have the Apocrypha in it! Then this isnt the 1611 plain in simple! Smh but other than that I give it a three still a good version but it got my hopes up for the Apocrypha!!!????
